Very much valued in the workplace by her employer The Barber Shop by Nashka Ealand, Caroline is a motivated and hard-working individual. She’s known for her barbering skills and rapport with clients, her work is always to a high standard, and she takes challenges in her stride while delivering excellent customer service.

Throughout her training Caroline ensured she met her targets and even though the barbering industry was very badly impacted by Covid 19 restrictions Caroline always demonstrated a positive and motivated attitude towards achieving her qualification.

During the lockdowns Caroline continued to engage in learning by joining the remote theory sessions, and she completed sanitising awareness certificates for the industry in order to provide safe environments for her clients on return to the barbers.

Passionate and motivated learner Stephanie showed 100% commitment throughout to complete her Level 3 apprenticeship which would bring her one step closer to achieve her ultimate goal of gaining the assessor's award that she is currently towards.

Although she was busy being ‘mum’ to a very young child and running her own barbers shop The Hair Shack. Steph was completely committed to her apprenticeship, attended all sessions, and achieved all her essential skills.

Not only was she an apprentice herself Steph has also provided opportunities for apprentices and over recent years she has guided and provided them with skills & knowledge, this is how she discovered passing on the skills to others and motivated her to work towards her assessors qualification.

Steph is very much valued in the workplace by her employees for being a supportive and very hard-working employer, along with always being keen to keep up to date with the latest skills & trends within the industry.

James Vaughan

James has completed his Levels 2, 3 and 4 in hairdressing and also Customer Service at Level 2. All of the work he produced for his apprenticeship was completed on time and to an exceptional standard.

Currently a self-employed hairdresser James has built up a very good clientele, never one to rest on his laurels though he has now embarked on a new career in nursing, as well as continuing to work in the salon.

Recently James was hospitalised, despite this setback he has continued to study for both his hairdressing and nursing qualification, he’s determined to succeed in both pathways so he can develop his abilities and further his career.
