Business, Administration and Customer Service Apprentice, Alice Evans

Alice Evans

North Wales Police

Alice Evans has made a positive impact since joining the vetting team at North Wales Police and completing a Foundation Apprenticeship in Business Administration nine months ahead of schedule.

She began her job role knowing nothing about policing, professional standards or vetting and with a limited range of skills but the progress she has made has been described as “extraordinary”.

Alice has devised efficiency improvements within her job role and conducted research into police engagement with young people, whilst also gaining experience in various departments.

By completing the apprenticeship and courses to upskill herself and undertaking project work, she made a positive impact at North Wales Police.

Business, Administration and Customer Service Apprentice, Lina Darras

Lina Darras

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board

Completing her Foundation Apprenticeship in Business Administration eight months ahead of schedule helped Lina Darras gain promotion with Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

Originally employed as a learning disabilities apprentice, Lina is now Conwy Community team secretary and progressed to an Apprenticeship in Business Administration.

A native Arabic speaker, she can speak both French and English fluently and has been described by her assessor as a “brilliant learner” who completes her work ahead of time and to a high standard.

Angharad Kellett Business, Administration and Customer Service Apprentice

Angharad Kellett

Grŵp Llandrillo Menai

Angharad Kellett’s thirst for knowledge contributed to her completing both a Foundation Apprenticeship and Apprenticeship in Business Administration 11 months early.

She was recruited as an administrative assistant by Grŵp Llandrillo Menai with no previous work experience. She has since shown her flexibility and willingness to learn and take on new challenges by providing support in the MIS and audit teams.

Her learning journey has continued to include a Higher Apprenticeship in Business and Professional Administration alongside other qualifications.

Angharad's work ethic has resulted in a more efficient workforce and improved performance. She is also showing her leadership skills by supporting a new administration apprentice.
