John Mark Gill

Conwy Mind

John Gill has increased Conwy Mind’s social media presence since joining the charity and has become an important member of the team.

A social media assistant, John has also completed an Apprenticeship in Social Media for Business to develop his digital marketing skills.

He says his apprenticeship has given him the confidence and skills needed to launch a digital career and he enjoys working with mental health professionals who make a real difference in the lives of others.

He has also helped integrate a new fundraising employee into the team, working with her on social media content and online marketing.

Conwy Mind says John brings a new perspective, original ideas and creativity, with a drive to reach more people and increase awareness of the mental health and support available.

Michael Bush

Sports For Champions

Michael Bush is a learner dedicated to excelling in his career as a marketing executive and enhancing his understanding and skills.

Since he joined POP Marketing, the marketing arm of Sports For Champions, the business has increased leads by 300%. One of Michael's primary goals has been improving and streamlining the company’s email marketing processes which has increased engagement rates.

Having achieved an Apprenticeship in Social Media for Business, he says the programme gave him the tools he needed to succeed in his role and quickly advanced his understanding of different types of digital marketing.

His employer says Michael's contributions have demonstrated that substantial marketing improvements can be achieved with a diligent approach and a willingness to innovate.


IT and Digital Apprentice Elin Glyn

Elin Glyn Jones

Chwarel TV

Elin Glyn Jones is an important member of the Chwarel TV production team delivering series three of the Great House Giveaway on Channel 4 as well as Goggle Bocs on S4C.

Since joining the company in October 22, Elin has completed an Apprenticeship in Media Creation, Production and Craft and a practical sound design course with the National Film and Television School.

She is highly praised for her enthusiasm, ability and enjoyment in learning new skills, exceeding what was expected of an apprentice.

Chwarel TV’s managing director Sioned Wyn describes Elin as an asset and valuable team member, who is always happy to go the extra mile and lend a hand to complete any task.

Her willingness to take training opportunities allows her to learn more and develop her skill base.
